Offer DescriptionThe Center for Research and Innovation in Biodiversity and Drug Discovery (CIBFar), a Research, Innovation and Dissemination Center (RIDC) supported by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) and hosted by the University of São Paulo’s São Carlos Institute of Physics (IFSC-USP) in Brazil, offers one (1) opportunity for a post-doctoral researcher, with a fellowship valid for up to 12 months. The post-doctoral will develop new drug planning and asymmetric synthesis strategies, using concepts of medicinal chemistry, as well as previously planned molecules with the purpose of discovering new candidates with antitumor or antiparasitic activity. The application deadline is July 03th, 2024, or until the position is filled.Candidates must have a PhD degree obtained within the last 7 (seven) years, in Brazil or abroad, and experience in synthetic organic chemistry and medicinal chemistry. English fluency and ability to work in interdisciplinary teams are mandatory.Candidates should send a Curriculum Vitae and motivation letter to Prof. Adriano D.
