Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Drug Discovery
Offer DescriptionThe Center for Research and Innovation in Biodiversity and Drug Discovery (CIBFar), a Research, Innovation and Dissemination Center (RIDC) supported by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) and hosted by the University of São Paulo’s São Carlos Institute of Physics (IFSC-USP) in Brazil, offers one (1) opportunity for a post-doctoral researcher, with a fellowship valid for up to 12 months. The post-doctoral will develop new drug planning and asymmetric synthesis strategies, using concepts of medicinal chemistry as well as previously-planned molecules with the purpose of discovering new candidates with antitumor or antiparasitic activity. The application deadline is July 03rd, 2024, or until the position is filled.Candidates must have a PhD degree obtained within the last 7 (seven) years, in Brazil or abroad, and experience in synthetic organic chemistry and medicinal chemistry. English fluency and ability to work in interdisciplinary teams are mandatory.Candidates should send a Curriculum Vitae and motivation letter to Prof. Adriano D.
