• Support decision-making for automation investment needs in Medium and Long Range Plans to facilitate business growth;
• Ensure automation standards are adhered to in all capital projects while identifying opportunities for improvement;
• Design and implement functional and process changes using OT techs;
• Administer SCADA systems, Data Historians, and OT engineering tools;
• Collaborate with providers to enhance service quality and plan strategic implementations;
• Ensure appropriate training and authorization levels for users accessing engineering computer systems;
• Provide automation guidance and training to operational and engineering teams;
• Develop and implement site automation standards for hardware, software, and engineering tools;
• Document and review project design documents and process changes (e.g., interlocks, change requests);
• Conduct periodic reviews of automation systems to ensure reliability and plan remediation activities;
• Support operation and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment and control systems;
• Manage procedures for automation configuration backup, archiving, and restoration;
• Support FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing), commissioning, and qualification activities as needed;
• Maintain OT asset maintenance routines; provide direct support and troubleshooting to units;
• Lead cybersecurity efforts, connecting directly with the Digital Plant team;
• Learn and apply Bayer IT Infrastructure policies to expand OT layers and make possible the sustain of this environment.

ARE YOU READY FOR THE POSITION?Mandatório:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably in Control and Automation;
• Previous experience with automation and process engineering;
• Experience with people management by influence;
• Advanced English;
• Availability to travel.

Desejável:

• Experience with corporate IT policies and interface with automation;
• Knowledge in process control (APC, PID, Classical Theory);
• Knowledge of ISA layers (Instrumentation, SCADA System, MES, PIMS, ERP);
• Knowledge in Programming algorithms in ladder logic.
