Offer DescriptionPost-Doctoral Scholarship linked to the Laboratory of Macroinvertebrate Paleontology at the São Paulo State University (UNESP), Bauru campus, Brazil. With a duration of one year, the scholarship aims to support research to apply linear morphometry and sclerochronology to Devonian brachiopods, to identify paleoenvironmental variations in the Paraná Basin and correlate them with other locations in South America.Recommendations: Doctorate degree obtained no more than 5 years ago (Paleontology, Geosciences, Biosciences, etc.); have a résumé that demonstrates qualifications; demonstrate publications in the last 5 years in the area; experience in the subject through publications of scientific articles and the PhD thesis; skill in collecting lithological and paleontological data; experience in teaching in the areas of Geology and Paleontology.Applications must be made via e-mail, containing: (I) research project; (II) Curriculum Vitae (CV), Lattes/CNPq or equivalent; (III) two recommendation letters; and (IV) letter of interest.
