Offer DescriptionThe cybersecurity research project “MENTORED (From Modeling to Experimentation – Predicting and Detecting DDoS and Zero-Day Attacks)” has two (2) post-doctoral fellowship opportunities to conduct research in Brazil related to the detection and mitigation of denial-of-service attacks in the IoT.One position is for working and living in Belo Horizonte (Minas Gerais state), and one position is for working and living in Recife (Pernambuco state).The candidate must have completed their Ph.D. within the last seven years and hold a doctoral degree in Computing, Engineering, or equivalent fields, related to at least one of the following topics: Computer Networks; Network Monitoring; Network Security; Internet of Things; Distributed Systems; or Experimental Environments.Each selected candidate will receive a post-doctoral fellowship from the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) in the amount of R$ 9,318.90 per month for 40 hours/week, plus a technical reserve of 10% of the annual scholarship amount to cover unforeseen expenses directly related to the research activity.More information about the fellowship is at: .RequirementsAdditional InformationEligibility criteriaEligible destination country/ies for fellows:
