Offer DescriptionThe selected candidate will work on a research project related to Tverberg-type theorems and applications, colored Tverberg problems and Van-Kampen-Flores-type problems within the scope of the Thematic Project entitled “Algebraic, Geometric and Differential Topology” hosted at the University of São Paulo’s Institute of Mathematics and Statistics (IME-USP) in Brazil and funded by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) through .The fellow will be linked to the post-doctoral program of the Mathematics Department of the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar) where he/she will work under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Edivaldo Lopes dos Santos, co-principal investigator for the Thematic Project.The grant will last 36 months and may be renewed according to FAPESP criteria.This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationality.
